Terms and Conditions

This page sets out Ink Plus’ policies regarding product warranties, returns, shipping, and applicable taxes.

Warranty Policy

All products sold by Ink Plus include a 3-month limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects under normal use and operating conditions.

Warranty Coverage
The warranty covers defects related to:

  • Materials used in the product
  • Workmanship affects the product’s functionality when used as intended

Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, spills, or accidents
  • Damage resulting from improper installation or handling
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations
  • Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear resulting from regular use

Warranty Claim Procedure
To request warranty service:

  1. Contact info@ink-plus.ca and include the order number associated with the purchase
  2. Provide a detailed description of the issue being experienced
  3. Attach clear photographs or videos that show the defect or problem, where applicable

All warranty claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If a claim is approved, our team will determine whether the appropriate resolution is a repair, replacement, or refund.


Return and Refund Policy

Return Eligibility

Most new and unused items may be returned within thirty (30) days of the delivery date.

Return Conditions
Returned items must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The item has not been used or installed
  • The item is returned in its original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is provided
  • Return was authorized prior to shipping the item back

Items returned without prior authorization may be refused or returned to the customer.

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
Opened or used electronic accessories, including but not limited to mice, keyboards, chargers, and cables (due to hygiene issues)

Return Process
To initiate a return:

  1. Email info@ink-plus.ca to request return authorization
  2. After approval, ship the item to the following address: 2269 Riverside Dr, unit #113 , Ottawa, Ontario, K1H 8K2
  3. Once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds are processed within ten (10) business days

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is the result of an error, defect, or incorrect item shipped by us.


Shipping Policy

Order Processing
Orders are processed within three (3) business days from the time the order is placed. Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or statutory holidays.

Shipping Rates and Delivery
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before the order is completed.

Shipment Confirmation and Tracking
Once an order has shipped, a confirmation email containing tracking information is sent to the email address provided at checkout.

Shipping Damage
If an order arrives damaged, the customer must contact info@ink-plus.ca as soon as possible and provide:

  • The order number
  • Photos of the damaged item and packaging

Failure to report shipping damage promptly may affect eligibility for replacement or refund.

Shipping Locations
We currently ship within Canada only. International shipping is not available at this time.


Taxes

Ink Plus is registered for GST/HST with the Canada Revenue Agency. Applicable taxes are calculated automatically at checkout based on the shipping address provided.
The following tax rates apply:

  • Ontario: 13% HST
  • Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island: 15% HST
  • All other provinces and territories: 5% GST

Customers are responsible for any additional taxes, fees, or charges imposed by their province or territory.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

This section outlines important information regarding the sale and use of refurbished electronic products sold by Ink Plus.
All refurbished devices are pre-owned. Each device undergoes basic cleaning, inspection, and functionality testing before being offered for sale.

1. Hardware

Core hardware components, including but not limited to the motherboard, display, storage drive, memory, and ports, are tested for basic operation at the time of refurbishment.

Because refurbished products are previously used, Ink Plus does not guarantee future performance, durability, or lifespan beyond the applicable warranty period.

2. Software

Ink Plus is not responsible for software-related issues, including but not limited to operating system errors, crashes, compatibility problems, viruses, malware, or the use of unlicensed, pre-installed, or third-party software.

The installation, activation, licensing, updating, configuration, and security of software are the sole responsibility of the customer.

3. Data Responsibility

All devices are wiped during the refurbishment process. Customers are responsible for backing up and managing their data after purchase.

Ink Plus is not responsible for data loss, data corruption, or data recovery under any circumstances.

4. Battery Condition

Batteries are tested only for basic functionality. No guarantees are made regarding battery health, capacity, performance, lifespan, or long-term safety after the 90 day warranty period.

Ink Plus is not liable for battery-related issues, such as overheating, swelling, leakage, reduced capacity, or failure.

5. Chargers and Accessories

Customers are responsible for using compatible and certified chargers and accessories.

Ink Plus assumes no responsibility for damage, electrical faults, fires, injuries, or malfunctions caused by chargers, power adapters, or accessories, whether original, third-party, refurbished, or otherwise.

6. Handling and Use

Damage caused by drops, liquid exposure, misuse, neglect, or improper handling is not covered and may void the warranty.

Use of unauthorized repair services or parts may also void the warranty.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ink Plus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; that includes, data loss, software issues, personal injury, property damage, business interruption, or loss of income resulting from the use or inability to use any product.

8. Repairs and Tampering

During the three (3) month warranty period, opening, modifying, or repairing a device by anyone other than an approved technician may void the warranty.

After the warranty period has ended, customers may have the device repaired or modified by a technician of their choice, and no prior approval or notification to Ink Plus is required. Ink Plus assumes no responsibility for any repairs, modifications, or resulting issues performed after the warranty period.

9. Governing Law and Claims

All claims or disputes must be submitted within ninety (90) days of the purchase date.

This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

By purchasing from Ink Plus, the customer agrees to the terms set out above.
